Cummings,LCSW
Originally from a small town in Wyoming, I moved to St. Louis, Missouri looking for more in this world. I obtained my masters in social work (MSW) at Saint Louis University, completed my licensure hours, and received my license in clinical social work. While practicing therapy, I quickly developed a passion for supporting people in their daily lives through meaningful and intentional therapy services. I have over three years of experience as a residential therapist working directly with eating disorders, and have since began establishing out patient therapy services focusing on the comorbidities of various diagnosis. I take a holistic and intrinsic approach to therapy, looking into the "why" and support in finding acceptance and compassion towards self to live a fulfilling life. Everything we do in life we do for a reason, healthy or unhealthy, and often understanding our own positive or negative coping skills can help us identify further parts of ourself we never knew existed. Therapy at one point saved my life, so I know it can do the same for others. I love being a therapist, and feel blessed to have found my true calling in life.
